Redstr Collective is a New York–based design and production studio known for developing objects and collaborations that merge art, fashion, and product design. The collective has worked with a range of artists and designers to produce concept-driven objects and limited-edition works. Toby Wong (1974–2010) was a Canadian-born artist and designer who studied sculpture at The Cooper Union before establishing his practice in New York. His work challenged distinctions between art and design, often appropriating luxury and consumer culture to create conceptual objects. Wong’s projects frequently addressed themes of authorship, value, and commodification, positioning design as a critical and cultural medium. His work has been exhibited internationally and is included in major collections.
