Alex Proba is a multidisciplinary designer whose work explores emotion through color, pattern, and sensory experience. Drawing inspiration from everyday visuals, sounds, and memories, she creates expressive designs across murals, textiles, and spatial environments. Her mural practice brings a dynamic sense of movement and energy to architectural surfaces, from large-scale walls to unexpected spaces such as pools and tile installations. Her first major mural, a 60-foot installation for Dropbox’s New York headquarters, marked a turning point in her career. Born in Germany, Proba studied spatial and contextual design before moving to New York, where she held roles at Kickstarter, Mother New York, and Nike. She has worked with clients including Google, Nike, Target, and Vogue Italia, and has been recognized by Print Magazine as one of its New Visual Artists.
