Magnus Pettersen is a Norwegian designer born in 1982 in Sarpsborg, Norway. He studied product and furniture design at Kingston University in London and later earned a master’s degree in industrial design from Central Saint Martins. In 2010, Pettersen established his design studio in London, where he develops furniture, lighting, and home accessories. His work is characterized by simplicity and functionality, reflecting influences from Scandinavian design traditions. Pettersen draws inspiration from a range of sources, including early 20th-century design, mid-century modernism, and contemporary production methods. His projects have been presented internationally, and he was nominated for the Bo Bedre Young Designer of the Year Award in 2012.
