Sophie Lou Jacobsen is a French-American designer based in New York City. She established her studio to focus on objects, furniture, and spatial design, with particular emphasis on glass as a primary material. Her work explores the relationship between objects and daily rituals, often reimagining familiar forms through subtle shifts in proportion, color, and function. Jacobsen’s designs aim to enhance everyday experiences while maintaining a sense of clarity and restraint. She has received recognition including a Grazia Interior Award, a Wallpaper Design Award, and inclusion in Sight Unseen’s American Design Hot List. Her work has been exhibited internationally and produced in collaboration with design brands and galleries.
