KangHee Kim is a South Korean artist and photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. She received a BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Kim is best known for her Street Errands series, a body of work that digitally alters urban photographs to construct imagined architectural interventions within real cityscapes. Her compositions blend photography and digital manipulation, transforming familiar environments into surreal, speculative spaces. Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in publications including The New York Times and The New Yorker. Kim’s practice reflects an ongoing interest in perception, environment, and the emotional possibilities of constructed imagery, using visual intervention to reframe everyday urban experience.
