Henry Julier is an industrial designer based in New York City. He graduated with University and College honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. Julier’s work spans product design, consulting, and research, with a focus on how design shapes relationships between people and objects. He has worked with designers and organizations including Jeffrey Bernett, Aruliden, and Johnson & Johnson. In 2013, he joined Standard Issue as lead industrial designer, contributing to the studio’s development of consumer products and brand collaborations. His practice is grounded in the belief that design functions as both a problem-solving tool and a way of understanding systems and interactions. Julier’s work reflects an interest in clarity, usability, and the broader cultural and functional contexts in which products exist.
