Dusen Dusen
Dusen Dusen is a New York–based design label founded by Ellen Van Dusen in 2010. The brand began as a womenswear line and later expanded into home goods with the launch of Dusen Dusen Home in 2015. Van Dusen studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and previously worked with designer Alexander Girard’s archive, an experience that informed her interest in pattern, color, and visual systems. The studio’s work is characterized by bold graphics and repeating motifs, often drawing from fine art, naïve design, and perceptual studies related to color and movement. Dusen Dusen’s collections include textiles, bedding, and home accessories, distributed internationally. The work reflects an ongoing exploration of how pattern and color can influence perception and everyday experience across both fashion and interior contexts.
