Chiaozza is the collaborative studio of artists Adam Frezza and Terri Chiao, based in New York City since 2011. Their multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, installation, works on paper, and public art. Frezza and Chiao’s work explores the relationship between play, craft, and storytelling, often combining organic forms, color, and pattern to create immersive environments. Their projects range from small-scale objects to large public installations, including an acre-scale sculpture garden presented at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The duo has exhibited widely, with solo exhibitions at venues such as Wave Hill in the Bronx and Vox Populi in Philadelphia, as well as numerous group exhibitions in the United States and internationally. They have also completed public art commissions in cities including New York and Gainesville, Florida, and participated in artist residencies in the United States and abroad.
